About ABC Short Trek

ABC Short Trek is the ideal option for people who wish to explore one of the top hiking locations in the world but have limited free time while in Nepal. The mountain range in Nepal and South Asia with the most exploration is the Annapurna Circuit trek or ABC trek. It differs from the Everest Base Camp Trek in that it is an easier, more adaptable moderate-level trekking path. Additionally, it doesn't require a lot of technical knowledge and is appropriate for all age groups.

You can travel to ABC via a variety of routes, depending on the number of people and their expectations for the journey. A local path, a pilgrimage route, a short hike route, a moderate hike route, and additional routes are all possible for getting to ABC. A stunning mountain vista of the Annapurna region, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8091m), II, III, IV, Nilgiri (7,061m), Machhapuchhre (6,993), and others, may be seen on the short hike to Annapurna Base Camp. The ABC journey is also highly remarkable and fascinating due to the flora and wildlife, rivers and gorges, and basins. Despite your brief stay, The Mountain Guide Adventure & Expedition Pvt.Ltd will help you make your ABC short trek memorable.

Itinerary

Pokhara Simrung Drive and Trek to Lower Sinuwa, or Bhunuwa

Following an early breakfast in the guesthouse or lodge in Pokhara, the short Annapurna Base Camp trek begins. This will be the very first day of your trek to ABC. Starting from Pokhara, we will drive to Simrung, which is more than 50 km away. The trek actually starts in Simrung, Jhinju Danda, and Choomrong. The trek is completed after a 5–6-hour walk. You will feel a bit of complexity on your hike to Chhomrong. The other part of your hike is quite interesting, and your lenses will enjoy it.

During your trek, you will stop at several villages and teahouses for rest and lunch. At the stoppage, you can purchase the foods you require. Remember, hiking through the mountains means walking up and down the hill, crossing rivers, suspension bridges, gorges, and many more. You will feel a sense of peace and joy as you travel around 60 kilometers (drive plus hike) and reach a maximum elevation of 2140 meters. Moreover, you will be glancing at mountains including Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), II, III, and IV, Nilgiri (7,061 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), and others from several hill stations.

Lower Sinuwa to Deaurali passing Bamboo 2335 m, Dovan 2505 m, and Himalaya 2920 m.

On day 2, the short ABC Trek begins with breakfast in Bhunuwa. The ascent to the summit of Sinuwa is quite difficult, as you should walk up the mountain. The trekking trail leads to Bamboo, where we stop for lunch, tea, or snacks. The break continues for Dovan. Upper Dovan is 20 minutes away from Dovan. The trek on day 2 continues for 7-8 hours and reaches an elevation of 2920 m. The distance covered is almost 13 kilometers. On the highlands, your accommodation will be at teahouses.

Your third day (3) will be the most interesting of your trek. Remember that on this day we will trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) and reach an elevation of 4130 m. The trek will be quite tough and challenging, as you will hike through steep hills. Moreover, on the trek to ABC, we will pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), but it will not be our destination. On the trek, we will cover a distance of 8 kilometers. The views of the mountains like Ganga Purna, Annapurna I II, and III, Fishtail, Tilicho, and Himchuli will provide you immense pleasure.

ABC to Lower Sinwa

The ultimate destination, Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m), will be a wonder for you. You can view the sunrise, spend your spare moments, and return to Lower Sinwa for your overnight stay. The breathtaking and daring short ABC trek also leaves participants with unforgettable memories.
