Sarangkot hiking also known as the site is another most popular ideal destination 12 inside Gandaki province in western Nepal. Pokhara which is one of the most popular tourist destinations paves the way to Sarangkot hiking, located within the Annapurna circuit. Not only lakes of Pokhara mountaineering will mesmerize you but also the life of local inhabitants, their cultures, the food and terrace farming in the hills will enchant you in many ways. Exploring means understanding the culture, understanding people, and understanding the way of life. The hikers will have plenty of opportunities to mix with local Magar and Gurung trivial communities. The sensational views of mt. Machhapuchhre (6997 m), Mt. Annapurna (I, II, III), Mt. Himchuli, and Mt. Dhauligri will provide you with a lifetime memory.  The nearby destination Phedi, is just a one hrs drive from pokhera. This is the point where your journey begins.

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara flight 25 min/drive 6-7 hrs (850 m).

Start your travel early in the morning at 7:00 am, 30 min. fly to Pokhara as per departure time. A city that offers us the magnificent view of various mountains namely Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchre and other mountain of Annapurna range. You have good chance to do some last minute shopping and self exploration around the town, walk around few lake, boating etc; (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 02: Drive to Phedi by Taxi (30 min.) and trek up to Dhampus (1600m) 2-3 hrs.

Early morning, after breakfast, an hour drive from Pokhara to Phedi, you will be passing through Naudanda and Lumle, whilst on clear day, and you can see the awesome view of Annapurna & Manaslu range. Phedi is a small town, which is one of the gateways to the Annapurna region. From Phedi, you will hike to Dhampus approx 2-3 hours. Dhampus mostly uphill through cultivated fields and local villages, this scenic Gurung Village is populated by a mix of people, Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectacular view Annapurna Range from the Dhampus. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 03: Hike Dhampus to Sarangkot (1720m) 5-6 hrs.

Wake up early in the morning for sunrise Mountain View. Today the trail descends down to Dhampus River (Stream) and after crossing the river, trail ascends gradually through the paddy fields and small forest to reach Naudanda Village. After Naudanda Walking through the Chhetri and Brahmins Villages after walking slowly 3 hour you reach to Sarangkot. Sarangkot offers a Himalayan panorama consisting of the mighty peaks such as the Annapurnas, Himalchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung Lamjung plus Pokhara and Phewa Lake view. (Overnight at tea house on full board basis)

Day 04: Hike Sarankot to Pokhara (850m) 3-4 hrs.

Wake up early in the morning and hike up to the Sarangkot Sunrise View Point to observe the sunrise over the Whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges including fishtail as well as other Soaring Mountain. After having a breakfast hike down to Pokhara which will take you slowly 3 hours downhill through small forest and cultivated fields, in the evening our guide will take you for sightseeing in Pokhara valley and visit the highlights of Pokhara and the surrounding areas. The place to visit pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Bindabashini, which one most important popular Hindu temple in Pokhara. Two hour boating in Phewa Lake and visit the Barahi temple which one in island in Phewa Lake and others popular place David fall (Water fall), Ghupteshower cave etc. (Over night at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 05: Pokhara to Kathmandu fly 25 min. /drive 6-7 hrs.

Well be afternoon flight to Kathmandu, till some hours before flight; you may take an optional sightseeing tour around Pokhara or enjoy adventure activities such as boat riding, paragliding, etc. While returning to Kathmandu from Pokhara, be sure to catch the left side of airplane for the best views of Himalayas. The day at leisure to rest, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any sights you missed during your first day in Kathmandu. Remember, we will be hosting a fantastic celebration "Farewell dinner" at traditional Nepalese restaurant together with Mountain Guide Trek staffs for successful completion of the Dhampus Sarangkot Hiking! (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)
