It offers spectacular mountain scenery and the trail passes through beautiful villages populated by mid-hill tribes called Gurungs, many of them are Gurkha soldiers working for British and Indian armies and some are engaged in farming. Trekkers will have an opportunity to experience the local culture and learn the tradition of the Gurung communities.
