This package tour is a specially designed tour package for our valued clients who prefer to do tour packages in Nepal as well as Tibet. Our main purpose in designing Nepal Tibet culture tour is to provide a wide range of travels, tours and adventurous services in these countries. Nepal Tibet Culture Tour fly in and fly out between Kathmandu and Lhasa, offers you some of the most amazing views of mountains, a cultural history of different Monasteries including Potala palace and many more for a real Adventure trip for travellers on a limit of time and money.

The best season for travelling to Nepal and Tibet is the months of March to September and, October to December is also the favourable season to travel to Nepal and Tibet.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m)

Namaste & welcome to Mountain Guide Trek of Nepal. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Mountain Guide Trek (MGT). After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Mountain Guide Treks and Expedition with the Group leader's name display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel. After check-in, if time allows, you will visit the MGT office to meet your trekking leader as well as other participants and for final preparation for the trip. It all depends upon your arrival time. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Tour Preparation

The day after breakfast we will start a sightseeing tour with our professional tour guide to the several of most historical and spiritual Places in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage historic Sites such as Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple (Swayambunath) and the Buddhist shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. After coming back from the tour there will be a pre-trip discussion with our trek leader and other team members. Mountain Guide Trek will brief you regarding your trek as well as we may have an opportunity to discuss any difficulties regarding our upcoming adventure. The rest of the time you could use for travelling around the Thamel and shopping for needed equipment and other necessaries. Evening drive to Nagarkot. Beautiful sunset views and mountain views including Mt. Everest view can be seen from the Hotel. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 03: Nagarkot to Kathamndu

Early morning beautiful sunrise view can be seen from the Hotel. After late breakfast drives down to Kathamndu slowly. Free afternoon for shopping or hanging around the city. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 04: Kathmandu to Lhasa (Flight)

We will transfer to Nepal airport after breakfast and for your flight to Lhasa. This is one of the exciting days of your Nepal Tibet Tour, a One-hour scenic flight over the mountains to Gongar Airport. Our Tibetan guide will pick you up and transfer you to Hotel. Rest at Hotel. Day 05: Sightseeing in Lhasa

After breakfast drive to sightseeing spots-Jokhang Temple, this is a most respected shrine in all of Tibet and is always bustling with spiritual worshippers. You will also have the opportunity to make some shopping in a Tibetan crowded city centre called Barkor market. In the afternoon visit to Sera Monastery fifteenth century sprawls of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. This well-preserved monastery is located just a few miles north of Lhasa and is home to several hundred monks. It is famous for debating activities which are happening from 3 to 4 pm quite regularly every day and after visiting. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 06: Sightseeing in Lhasa

A trip to Tibet would not be complete without visiting the popular Potala Palace. This palace is Lhasa's cardinal landmark and is a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first visit to this massive structure will be a magical moment remembered for years to come. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once home to the Dalai Lama. This truly amazing day will be ended with a visit to the Drepung Monastery. Once the world's largest monastery, housing 10,000 monks, Drepung monastery lies hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city. Surprisingly much of the building was left untouched for so many hundreds of years.(Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 07: Lhasa to Kathmandu:

Early morning drive to Gonggar airport for departure flight to Kathmandu. On arrival at the airport, our car will be waiting for our arrival. Meet and drive to our hotel. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 08: Farewell Friend (Final departure to your onward destination)

Today is the last day in Nepal for this trip; you are saying goodbye to the mountains as the journey in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organize the photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight a representative from Mountain Guide Treks will take you to the airport.

  • An experienced English-speaking trek leader (trekking guide), assistant trek leader (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide) and Sherpa porters to carry luggage (2 trekkers: 1 porter) including their salary, insurance, equipment, flight, food and lodging.
  • Down jacket, for a seasonal sleeping bag, Mountain Guide treks & Expedition kit bag/duffel bag,   trekking map (down jacket and sleeping bag are to be returned after trip completion)
  • All necessary paperwork and permits (National park permit, TIMS )
  • A comprehensive medical kit
Exclude
  • Nepal entree visa: you can get a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (a multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by Paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying the US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos.)
  • International airfare
  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu (and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
  • Travel and rescue insurance
  • Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, water bottle, hot shower during the trekking etc.)
